This is after one and a half days of framing.
First floor trusses are scheduled to be set tomorrow.
Could I be any more giddy?
Can we move in next weekend?
My builder is likely to tire of me soon.
Love to you all.
Go hug your walls.
Three cheers for walls.

When we built our home 10 years ago we were home schooling our kids. We were here EVERY day. I was curious but I also quickly learned we had to stay on top of them. We designed the home ourselves and some things were very different for our little town. I kept thinking I should have gotten foreman pay. But SO FUN to watch. I would imagine that it is nice to have the visible outward sign of new life coming forth from the ashes. Praying He continues to redeem it all!

Wow…I would love to live right on the water like that. I don’t think that my husband would ever come inside though. haha š Congrats on the walls! Every new step is so thrilling when you’re building a new home.

Rejoice! Rejoice! I am so happy for you and your family. Your honesty and graceful examples have laid a foundation for many to build upon. You lead by example and I am positive many have been and will continue to be blessed by your words and your story.

Oh Edie! This is SO exciting! I have been following your story for some time now and my heart and prayers have gone out to you and your family every day. The foundation with which you’ve built your family can ONLY grow stronger with time. To “hear” your giddiness brings a smile to my face.
Enjoy moving forward…one day at a time ;o)
