It was 1:00 in the afternoon and time to do memory work. They whined and scratched and cried and fell to the floor and complained that this was the worst day of school. Ever. So, I did what any self-respecting teacher would do…..I solicited the help of the dog. And in no time at all, we were all laughing so hard that I was thankful I hadn’t taken the time to put on any makeup. These particular verses of scripture are now forever burned in their memory, but I don’t know if they’ll ever be able to say them without laughing. Enjoy!

Thanks for your sweet comment! I really admire you and your choice to homeschool your kids. I love the line YOU wrote about your whine/wine.

Whatever it takes huh? It’s great when we can make learning fun for them and can get a good laugh in ourselves. As far as the whining, there’s been way too much of it at my house this week. We are actually taking a break now because we have my neice and her baby in town for 9 days, she’s here to babysit so Kimball and I can go to Minnesota to visit our friends this weekend. It should be fun, we’re going to the Vikings game because our friend Darrell is the offensive coordinator. Hopefully I’ll have lots of fun pics to share when I get back. Take Care.

Ok, that’s one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Although, there’s no way Mabel would participate in that. Good thing children arent depending on her. 🙂
