We made it to Friday, comrades! I don’t know about you but I wasn’t sure I’d make it to Friday in the same size jeans. I’m still not sure. I have the stretchy variety on at the moment and I wish for all the world I could keep it that way. I must confess that it’s been the kind of week has you scratching your head saying, “Exactly what in the Sam Hill have you been doing all week? Your house is not decorated. And those Christmas cards aren’t gonna send themselves. And how many days are you gonna fool with that mantel sister?” But I defend my honor with this one photograph. I declare myself absolved.
By all the right standards, it’s been a good week 🙂
And YOU’ve made it extree special with all your calories!
So now, wow me again with your tasty treats! It’s time for breads, breakfasts, and beverages. I’ll be sitting {in my yoga pants} on the edge of my seat!

Mine isn’t decorated yet either! We had preschool Christmas concert tonight, so now I’m finally in the spirit!

Tell your daughter she has EXCELLENT taste in reading material. Anne of Green Gables will always be my favorite book.

Your post made me actually LOL, love it!
I am working on some holiday recipes to bring to parties and I too feel the need for some stretch jeans! lol
My daughter just got Anne of Green Gables as a gift last week and is keen to start it after she finishes the last HP book. Hope your daughter loves it! 🙂

I love you! You’re adorable, and I love the way you write. It’s been one of those weeks around these parts too, so I haven’t even had to time join in the fun. It’s probably best, seeing as I already needed the stretchy pants! 😉 Have a beautiful weekend!

Well Edie, I had planned to join you’re party but…………………..okay, I don’t really have an excuse. I have enjoyed seeing what everyone else is doing though. Thanks to all who did submit the goodies. They look yummy. After the holidays I probably will need to go on a diet. I’d do anythig to lose 10lbs (maybe 20lbs) except diet and exercise. LOL I saw that on pinterest and laughed so hard. I hope you find it as funny as I did. Hope your day is blessed.

Hi there! I love your daughter’s book! Anne of Green Gables is a favorite, but my question is where did you get that particular one? It is adorable!

Who the heck is “Sam Hill”???….I hadn’t heard that phrase in a very long time and it made me smile. My Dad used to say it all the time! Loving all the Christmas goodies, and whenever I open your blog, it makes me happy just to look at your porch.

You’ve got your girl reading the Anne books. You are indeed absolved.
Besides, you used the phrase “what in the Sam Hill.” You, my friend, are a kindred spirit.
What you need, Mrs. Dr. Dear, is a Susan Baker. Don’t you think? At least at Christmastime?

I’ve just scored! I am getting ready to make breads for gifts. I haven’t visited your place in a bit and am so excited. You have the best ideas! Blessings for another “good week”. PS – I love the numbers on your tree. Charming.
